Back in January, Honda unveiled a new track toy. It is called Civic Type R-GT and you won’t be able to buy one. At least if you’re not a professional racing driver.

But the car is not yet ready, and according to a recent report, Honda will soon start the track tests in order to finish the product. The first tests are supposed to take place at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan.

According to Honda, the new Civic Type R-GT will compete in the Super GT Series, a Japanese track competition.

Under the hood of the model is a 2,0 liter turbo engine which was specially developed by the Honda Racing Corporation.
