BMW is working on a new generation of the M2 hot hatch. We already knew that the model will use the same 3,0 liter petrol engine as the M3 and M4.

The engine will be detuned, but how much?
According to a recent report, the car will deliver 455 horsepower, which is less compared to the X3 M and X4 M versions.

The same document revealed that the car will also come with rear-wheel drive, but we kind of know that an all-wheel drive variant is in the works. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about the transmission.

I know you are more interested in a manual one, but there is nothing out there to support this info.
