Even if we said that Dodge resumed the production of the current Viper a couple of days ago, the things are not so good for the US manufacturer.
Dodge decided to halt again the production process due to decreasing sales. Starting today 82 people will be laid off and production will resume on July 21st.
In the first production pause, 91 workers were laid off. After the production will be restarted, the US manufacturer will return to the daily rate of cars assembled, risking another stock surplus.
Trying to revive the sales and to continue working under normal condition, the current Viper will be sold again with the Dodge logo, as to encourage public to return to their shoowrooms and buy more performance cars.
