Cupra has big plans for electric mobility. After unveiling the Cupra Born, the Spanish performance manufacturer will come with a surprise during the Munich Motor Show.

Its name is Cupra UrbanRebel Concept and it will be a small urban electric car. According to Cupra, the production version of the UrbanRebel will be unveiled in 2025, the same year that Seat announced a small electric hatchback.

We don’t have any other details, but we can be pretty sure that both Seat and Cupra small electric cars will be based on the same architecture as the future Volkswagen ID.1 or ID.2.

According to our sources, the ID.1 and ID.2 will use a shorter version of the current MEB platform, the architecture used in the Volkswagen ID.3, ID.3, Skoda Enyaq and Audi Q4.
