You probably know the kind of reaction that results when you mix Mentos mints with Coca Cola, also known as the Mentos eruption or the Coke geyser.
Well the following video presents the first ‘aplication’ that uses Coca Cola and Mentos as an alternative fuel. A group of ‘scientists’ get together and develop the Coke Zero & Mentos Rocket Car which ‘extracts’ power from 108 bottles of Coke Zero and 648 Mentos mints.
This three wheeled vehicle uses a tube mechanism that simultaneously drops the Mentos into the soda, and the overall result is a big push of 6 feet 🙂
