A few days ago, BMW has officially unveiled the all-new X5 xDrive40e. This is the first plug-in hybrid SUV made in Munchen and now we can watch at the first promo clip. 

As a reminder, the new BMW X5 xDrive40e uses a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol unit and an electric motor. As a result, the total output is declared at 313 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque.

Thanks to the automatic transmission, the German plug-in hybrid SUV can run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 210 km/h (130 mph). 

More than that, the electric range announced by BMW is about 31 kilometers (19 miles). Speaking of fuel consumption, the BMW X5 xDrive40e can offer 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers (34 mpg) with CO2 emission of 77 grams per kilometers.
