The BMW Sauber racer is ready to take on the 2009 Formula 1 Season. It is KERS equipped witch is short for Kinetic Energy Recovery System and although BMW’s team leader Mario Theissen said they are not sure if they will use the system or not everyone expects that the car will be amazing in terms of performance.
How will the KERS system work? Apparently it collects energy when the car brakes and at the push of a button it will be able to supply an extra 80 HP for a 6.67 seconds period of time. Imagine what an advantage will this car have when trying to pass another competitor. We cant wait to see the KERS in action.
Some other visual differences that you will be able to notice in the video are the  three-element nose of the new BMW Sauber racer and also the smaller rear wing due to the new regulations.
