The German automaker has just announced that it will open the order books for the new Audi Q3 in the UK in June and that the first customer deliveries are scheduled for November.
Available with four direct injected and turbocharged power plants (2.0 TFSI 170PS, 2.0 TFSI 211PS, 2.0 TDI 140PS, 2.0 TDI 177PS), all enhanced with fuel saving measures like start stop and energy recuperation systems, the new Audi Q3 will come with features like the new MMI navigation plus, online Bluetooth car phone, WLAN connectivity and parallel and perpendicular park assist as standard.
The most fuel efficient model is the 140 PS front-wheel-drive version Audi Q3 2.0 TDI which promises to return 54.3 mpg, and for which deliveries will start in December.
Pricing for the Audi Q3 will start at 24,560 GBP in the UK for the 140 PS 2.0TDI version fitted with a six-speed manual and will reach 31,360 GBP for the 2011 PS 2.0 TFSI quattro version equipped with a seven-speed S tronic transmission.
Among other equipment included as standard, Audi’s new compact SUV will come fitted with 17 inch 10 spoke design alloys, a manually retractable 6.5-inch display screen, an 8 speakers audio system featuring Audi Music Interface, light and rain sensors, rear parking sensors, remote central locking and numerous airbags.
