German tuning company AC Schnitzer has applied the ‘Power Treatment’ to the 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring, and this include enhancements in terms of performance as well as in the looks department.
Starting with the engine upgrades, the AC Schnitzer 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring will benefit from boosted performance on the following versions : the 520d which packs 218 HP instead of 184 HP, the 525d which now produces 245 HP instead of 204 HP, 530d – from 245 HP to 286 HP and finally the 535d that increased from 300 HP to 360 HP.
As far as exterior changes and modifications, the AC Schnitzer 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring is fitted with a chromed twin sports rear silencer, (Racing tailtrim in development), a chromed front grille, carbon fiber spoiler elements, bonnet vents, new side skirts, a rear roof spoiler, a new rear spoiler and the tuner’s wide range of 19- and 20-inch lightweight alloys.
At the interior the AC Schnitzer 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring comes with aluminium pedals and foot rest, new floor mats, the aluminium cover for the i-Drive system and carbon fiber inserts across the dashboard and door panels.
The AC Schnitzer 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring has also received an upgraded suspension and high performance brakes.
