A prototype of the all-new Tesla Model 3 was caught on camera while shooting a commercial on the streets of California. And now we have the chance to develop a better perspective of the Model 3’s proportions and design compared to Model S.
As you may have read, Tesla Motors has already received 325.000 pre-orders for this model and it will be very difficult to fulfill all those requests in a timely manner.

The new Model 3 will go on sale late next year and will have a starting price of 35.000 USD. On the design side, the new Model 3 looks like a mini version of the Model S. Inside the cabin we have seen a large infotainment screen that really looks like a 4K monitor from a graphic designer’s workstation.

According to Elon Musk, the new Model 3 will get 5 stars in every category of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s battery of tests, and that each Model 3, regardless of trim level, will come standard with the company’s Autopilot hardware and safety features. And this is an important move for the American car manufacturer.

As a reminder, the slowest Model 3 will be able to run from stand still to 100 km/h in under six seconds, while the EPA-certified range will be of at least 215 miles.
