Mercedes-Benz has published the first official picture of the upcoming 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift. The German model will be showcased during the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show, the event which will took place later this month.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift features a new massive radiator grille, a revised pair of LED headlights and a modified front bumper. We don’t have pictures with the rear end but we know that the Germans have updated the bumper, the exhaust pipes and the taillights.

Inside the cabin we will see new upholstery and trim options and the revised infotainment system. In addition, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift will feature a lot of safety systems.

Under the hood there might be some changes but the most popular units will be carried over. The SL 63 will continue to use the V8 5.5 liter twin-turbo engine and we are pretty sure that the new V8 4.0 liter unit won’t be used in the upcoming model.
