Recently refreshed with a facelift, the 2015 Opel Meriva is now expanding its engine options with the introduction of a downsized version of the 1.6 liter CDTI engine. The family car adds new power versions along the already announced 136 unit.

The new versions deliver 110 and 95 hp. The latter will be used as an entry-level diesel and will also be the most economical one, delivering only 4.0 liters/100 km and emmiting 105 g/kmCO2 emissions.

The new 1.6 liter CDTi engine replaces the old 1.3 liter. Compared to the old unit, the new 1.6 liter delivers 100 Nm more and comes with a start-stop system in standard.

Already in line with Euro 6 regulations, the new Opel Meriva 1.6 CDTi 95 hp version will start at 19.150 euro in Germany.
