Lamborghini has revealed today the first teaser image of the upcoming 2015 Huracan Super Trofeo. As you may have read, the brand-new race-only Italian supercar will take the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo place and will compete in the next year’s Blancpain Super Trofeo series.

According to Lamborghini officials, the new 2015 Huracan Super Trofeo will see alongside the outgoing Gallardo Super Trofeo because existing owners of the Gallardo model will still be able to use their cars. However, the Gallardo and Huracan Super Trofeo models will compete in different classes.

On the exterior, we see a more aggressive and sporty front fascia with a unique splitter and bigger air inlets. At the back, we will probably see a big spoiler and a revised air diffuser. All these aerodynamic modifications will help Huracan to develop more downforce so it will be faster around the corners.

Under the hood, the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will feature the same V10 5.2 liter, but for now we don’t know what amount of power it will deliver.
