The BMW X6 is one of the most beloved models from the Bavarian car maker, and that is why the German officials are trying to create a better new generation. According to the gents from Autocar, the second generation of the BMW X6 will be ligther, sportier and will adopt a more aggressive look.
 
"We want to give our sporting models a more individual look, separating them more visually from the more practical models in our line-up". The next-gen of X6 will ride on a new composite steel structure which is lighter and stiffer that the current one. There is also a new self-leveling air suspension and a new FlexRay system that will allow for easy electronic upgrades.

Even though the engine options remain unconfirmed, we can say that the next-generation of the BMW X6 will come with the turbocharged 3.0 liter petrol, a twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8 petrol and with the twin-turbo and tri-turbo 3.0 liter dieseles. The German officials are also planning a pulg-in hybrid version that will use the turbocharged 3.0 liter petrol unit and an electric motor.
