Chevrolet has unveiled today the performance specs for the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51. Under the hood is the same 6.2 liter V8 unit that can develop 455 horsepower and 624 NM peek of torque.
 
The Stingray Z51 can go from stand still to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds while the quarter mile is done in 12 seconds. 

More than that, the Z51 managed to lap the Virginia International Raceway in 2:51.78, seven seconds better than the Camaro 1LE.
 
According to Chevrolet, the Z51 Performance Package is priced at 2.800 US Dollars and comes with an aerodynamic kit, an electronic limited slip differential, a dry-sump oiling system, an upgraded cooling system and the Magnetic Ride Control. The last system is offered at a price tag of 1.795 US Dollars.
