The new Volkswagen Golf is well received by the European public.
The compact segment best seller already received 40.000 orders in Europe, even though he will be showcased for the first time in German showrooms this weekend, on November 10. Is the same number achieved by Mercedes-Benz for its latest A-Class hatchback back in the summer.
To mark the ocassion, Volkswagen dealers all across Germany will be open during the weekend offering consumers the opportunity to test drive the Golf while also hosting several special events with live music, various children’s activities and a presentation of the previous generation Golf.
In the Uk, Golf 7 has a starting price of 16.330 pounds, which means that the new generation is a little cheaper than the old model.
The C-segment hatchback will be available in both variants, three and five doors, along with a choice of three trim levels (S, SE and GT). For the base price you get the 1.2 liter TSI entry-level engine, with 85 horsepower, equipped with standard stop/start system, battery regeneration technology and six airbags.
