Kia revealed the 2012 Optima SX Limited at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday, a luxed up version of the popular Optima which was already showcased in the company’s Super Bowl commercial called ‘Drive the Dream‘.
The 2012 Kia Optima SX Limited uses the company’s 2.0-litre turbo GDI engine developing 275 HP and 269 lb-ft of torque which enables fuel economy figures of 22 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
The car is fitted with unique 18 inch chrome wheels and red painted brake callipers, it has LED daytime running lights and various chrome accents. Its interior has been enhanced with wood trim, seats covered with Nappa leather, high-grade black or white Nappa leather on the door panels, center console, armrest and center fascia, a new headliner, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Kia Optima SX Limited price starts at 34,900 USD and its production will start at the automaker’s plant in West Point, Georgia later this month. Customers will be able to purchase it in March.
