The French website TheAutomobilist has published a few pictures with a hotter version of the Clio RS model. The French hothatch features a more aggressive body. We see beefier wheel arches, modified side skirts, bigger air intakes in the front part and a massive rear wing to deliver more downforce.

According to the same source, under the hood is the same 1.6 liter engine but now it delivers 250 horsepower, with 30 horsepower more than the standard version. For now there is no word about the toque figure, but we might see some increase.

The same source says that Renault will unveil this concept during the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix and if the feedback will be positive, we might have a chance to see the car in production. As you already know, the current Renault Clio will soon receive a facelift and the hotter RS would make sense.

If the production is green-lighted it remains unclear if the car will be a special edition or it will replace the current 220 edition.
