The Lamborghini Gallardo era is getting to an end. After 10 years in the service of the Sant’Agata Bolognese officials the Italian supercar will retire.

According to Fintan Knight, commercial director of Lamborghini, the Gallardo successor will be offered without a manual gearbox.

A good news is that the next supercar from Sant’Agata Bolognese will be named after a famous bull. The Italian official also confirmed that the Gallardo successor will use the technologies previously seen in the Sesto Elemento.

Under the hood, we will see the same naturally aspired V10 engine and no hybrid technology is being planned.
