Kia has officially unveiled the Soul-based Trail’ster concept at the 2015 Chicago Motor Show. The new Korean prototype is previewing an AWD Soul variant and comes with a Polar Pearl Snowdrift exterior paint. Furthermore, the car comes with a fully retractable roll-top canvas roof and special 19-inch alloy wheels. 

Exterior
 
At the front part of the new Kia Trail’ster Concept, we see K900-inspired projector headlamps, headlights with LED technology and rugged exterior protections.
 
Interior
 
Inside the cabin, everything is mostly carried over from the regular Soul but it has a thicker gear shifter, controls for the AWD system a red ignition switch.
 
Drivetrain

Under the hood is a 1.6 liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 188 horsepower and 251 Nm peak of torque. The engine sends the power to the wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox while at the rear is mounted a 36 HP and 100 lb-ft electric engine that draws its energy from a 1.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery.
