The French designer Christophe Jourd’hui has launched a new concept. Dubbed the BMW MZ8, it pays tribute to the legendary BMW 8 Series and Z8 roadster.
"This car commemorates the 40 years of Motorsport department. I decide to work on a spyder in honor of the Z8 and 8 series.” says Jourd’hui. The MZ8 Concept has a removable hardtop, a more aggressive shark nose and a special re-interpretation of BMW’s double kidney grille.
As a reminder, the BMW 8 Series was build between 1989 and 1999, while the Z8 roadster, designed by Henrik Fisker, was on the assembly line from 1999 to 2003.
