We’ve seen a preview of the Vorsteiner BMW X6M conversion some time ago, and now the US tuner has released full details referring to their new aero kit.
All elements included in the Vorsteiner BMW X6M have been designed using a dry carbon vacuum process, which means they are not only lightweight, but also strong enough so that the car’s aerodynamics can be improved.
At the front the Vorsteiner BMW X6M aero kit consists of a new front add-on spoiler while the rear-end now received a new diffuser with three modular aero fins plus two vented slits that enable better cooling for the exhaust system.
Also part of the Vorsteiner BMW X6M aero kit is the rear deck lid spoiler, and the package is completed by a set of 22 inch, 10-spoke design forged monoblock wheels.
The North American tuner said it is also working on creating a carbon hood for the BMW X6M that would feature air vent to better coll the V8 unit from underneath.
Vorsteiner press release :
Introducing the X6M Aero package, the newest addition to our BMW conversions, designed and built for the most discerning clientele who seek the highest level of performance and style.
Our first SUV conversion, the X6M aero components are crafted using the latest in lightweight composite technology utilizing a dry carbon vacuum process, achieving maximium strength-to-weight  ratio while improving aerodynamics throughout the vehicle.
The new front end of the X6M is highlighted with the addition of a new front add-on spoiler that is constructed out of carbon fiber composite (CFRP) that exudes absolute confidence & road  presence. The front spoiler is designed to add down force to the front axle at high speeds while directing more air into the front radiators and air duct openings.
An all-new power dome sculpted vented carbon composite hood will also be available in mid September to complement the front spoiler and to extract heat from the twin turbo V8 engine bay.
The rear end of the X6M is characterized by a new sporty carbon fiber diffuser that replaces the factory plastic unit. The rear diffuser houses 3 modular aero fins that are attached to the main body of the diffuser in addition to 2 vented slits to help cool the exhaust system.
To complete the rear aerodynamic package is our carbon add-on rear deck lid spoiler that elegantly contours around the lines of the factory boot lid while balancing the additional down force of the new front end.
To complement new lightweight aerodynamic package a new 10 spoke forged monoblock wheel was developed measuring the 22×10.5J | 22x12J to improve road grip while minimizing rotational inertia for optimal acceleration times.
