Today, the Swedish car maker Volvo has unveiled its autonomous parking concept. According to Volvo officials their car can park itself in a vacant space without the help of a driver.

The Swedish concept is based on the V40 hatchback and enables users to arrive at a car park, exit the vehicle and tell the car to park itself via a smart phone application.

The V40 Autonomous Parking Concept uses a lot of sensors to find the empty park spaces and can park itself while avoiding other cars or pedestrians.

When you have to go, you just press a button on your smart phone and the car comes to pick you up. According to Volvo this is only one of its several autonomous projects.
