The 3- and 5-door versions Suzuki Grand Vitara are now featuring a new look. Both models received a more sophisticated body line with a cleaner design, and the spare wheel that was previously mounted on the rear door has been removed.
This way the Suzuki Grand Vitara has a more urban look, and the overall length has been reduced by 200 mm, but the automaker says the car retains its full off-road capability, with features like electronically
switchable high, low gear ratios and differential lock as standard.
The 1.9-litre DDiS engine powering the 5-door version Suzuki Grand Vitara has also been revised so it can comply with the Euro 5 regulations, which means it has reduced CO2 emissions from 185 g/Km to 179 g/Km, while fuel consumption has also been improved to 41.5 mpg.
Other engines available on the 5-door version is the company’s 2.4-litre petrol while the 3-door variant Suzuki Grand Vitara come fitted with the 1.6 or the 2.4-litre petrol units.
