The car is already available for pre-ordering in the UK, and as you may now, the best feature regarding this model is its powertrain which combines a 2.0-litre turbo diesel with two electric motors in order to provide a total of 200 bhp and consumption/emission figures of 74 mpg (UK rating) and 99 g/Km of CO2.
The diesel engine spins the front axle, while the electric motors spin the rear wheels. This enables the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 to act like a 4WD car, which means is is suitable to all driving conditions.
In fact the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 can be driven in four modes, and these are Auto, ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle), Sport and 4WD.
