We have seen many comparison tests that might not seem to make sense, but that does not mean it isn’t sometimes interesting to see how a particular model behaves when put head to head with some other model.
The cars in this case are the new Subaru BRZ and the 2013 Ford Mustang V6, two models which have in common the fact that they both cost under 30.000 USD and they both aim at being the best driver’s car.
So which is the best out of these two according to Motor Trend? well follow the jump, hit play and see for yourself.
Before you do that however you might want to have a quick peak at what the Japanese and American models are capable of in terms of performance.
The Subaru BRZ which weights 2747 lbs, comes with a 2.0-litre flat-four cylinder engine rated at 200 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque. Its power is send to the wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox, while its price as tested is 26,245 USD.
The 2013 Ford Mustang V6 on the other hand tips the scale at 3511 lbs, and power in this case comes from a 3.7-litre unit capable of outputting 305 HP and 280 lb-ft of peak torque also via a 6-speed manual. The version shown in this comparison costs 30,830 USD.
