2013 Bentley Continental GTC V8

Apart from the V8 version Continental GT , Bentley will also reveal the new soft top variant in Detroit, and we're talking about the Continental GTC.

The British company has already published the first batch of photos that offer a preview of this beauty complements the old 6.0-litre W12 unit and is expected to develop 500 bhp (507 PS / 373 Kw) at 6000 and 660 Nm (487 lb ft) between 1700 to 5000 rpm.

This new V8 also delivers better fuel consumption and emission figures (40 percent lower when compared to the 6.0-litre W12) not only due to its smalled displacement but also due to advanced technologies such as direct injection, variable displacement and the new close-ratio 8-speed transmission.  

The 2013 Bentley Continental GTC comes with

all-wheel-drive and in terms of performance can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds (0 to 100 Km/h in 4.8 seconds) and can hit a top speed of 188 mph (303 Km/h).

Distinctive styling features on the V8 versions include new bumpers, a gloss black matrix grille with brought chrome surround, a dark rear lower valance, newly designed wheels and twin 'figure eight' exhaust pipes.

Pricing for the 2013 Bentley Continental GTC V8 starts at 149,600 Euro in Europe, the equivalent of around 136,250 GBP.
