Jaguar Cars, the world-famous luxury car manufacturer, is on the move. It is well-known for its sophisticated automobiles, such as its flagship model, the XJ. This model has been in the running since the 1960s and has undergone numerous cosmetic makeovers. As a result, it adapted to the changing preferences of their unique clientele. This is without a doubt one of the main reasons why Jaguar Cars has never had any existential issues, and they have even survived the most severe financial crises.

The official release of the 2017 Jaguar XF has not disappointed the public. This model has been completely redesigned in accordance with their adaptable and flexible vision.

Exterior design

The exterior styling has been gradually updated. The XF looks more graceful thanks to more stylized headlights, a smoother roofline, and an adjusted back inspired by the smaller Jaguar XE sedan. The car will have two separate exhausts on either side of the back end.

Another significant change to the XF‘s exterior is the replacement of the steel body with a much lighter aluminum body.

Interior design

The minimalist trend has been recognized by the 2017 Jaguar XF, which features an almost buttonless wing-shaped dashboard, a multifunctional steering wheel, and a touch screen center console, similar to the one found in the upscale interior and tech department of the 2017 Jaguar XE. The use of wood in the sign lends a relaxed and earthy feel to the interior. Of course, one of the many options available to a customer is an interior upgrade, which includes more luxury, personal preference, and leather seats.

The spacious cabin from last year will also return, giving all passengers, tall or short, plenty of room for their legs and heads. The standard infotainment screen is an eight-inch touch screen that is accompanied by an eight-speaker audio system. A 10.2 inch touch screen is available as an option.

Engine specs

The 2017 Jaguar XF will be available with a variety of engine options. The base XF will have two supercharged 3.0L V6 engines with a combined output of 340 horsepower. An engine with 380 horsepower will be one category above that. If that isn’t enough for you, a supercharged V8 engine is available. If all of this power scares you, there’s also a four-cylinder gas or diesel engine to choose from.

In addition to the standard automatic transmission, diesel engines are available with a manual transmission. The automatic transmission is standard on all other engines.

Tech specs

The InControl Touch infotainment system and smartphone integration will be available on the dashboard’s touch screen. Bluetooth Phone Connectivity and Audio Streaming are also standard technological features. Lane Departure Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Pedestrian Contact Sensing System are among the standard safety features. If a pedestrian is hit, the latter automatically folds the hood and deploys an air bag.

Price and sale date

The 2017 Jaguar XF is now available in Europe and the United States. Prices in Europe begin at €41,350 (Germany) for the base trim with a turbodiesel engine. The highest trim level with a turbodiesel engine costs €68,290, while the gasoline model costs €70,890.

Prices in the US start at $47,450 for the 20t, $51,290 for the 35t, and $63,200 for the highest S trim.
