The Bentley Continental GT was completely redesigned in 2011, two years after it was first shown. This model will be modified and upgraded in 2018 to achieve the title of Supersports. Bentley has used the Supersports moniker since the 1920s, making every Supersports version an instant classic. This Supersports version certainly lives up to its name, as it is the quickest and most powerful Continental GT produced to date. Overall, the 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports is a must-have.

Furthermore, the 2018 Supersports arrives six years after the basic model. The marketing benefit here is clear, as Bentley has already used this tactic with an older Supersports car. That one came out six years after the normal model and two years before it was discontinued. So, with the third generation Continental GT due out in 2018, the 2018 Continental GT Supersports is the public’s last chance to own this high-end variant of the second generation Continental GT. The technique has previously worked, and we are certain that it will again this time.

The Continental GT Supersports is, of course, a supercar, but it retains a completely luxurious look. Unlike, say, the Bugatti Chiron, the emperor of sports supercars.

Check out the review to see everything this monstrous Continental has to offer. The car’s images and specifications were just just published by Bentley.

Exterior design

The appearance of the 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports resembles that of its regular brother from 2009. The lower air vents on the front of the Supersports have a more beautiful design. The remainder of the nose is nearly identical, including the signature Bentley grille and round headlamps.

The new 21-inch wheels, which are 44 pounds (20 kgs) lighter than the regular wheels, set the side apart. Furthermore, the door handles and windows have a black tint to them, and side decals are optional.

The rear of the car stands out thanks to a carbon-fiber diffuser on the bumper, black-encased taillights, and glossy black exhausts. The rear spoiler is optional, however it is a must-have for racing car enthusiasts.

There are about sixty exterior colors to choose from, with many distinct tints and finishes. Don’t forget that the 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports will be offered in convertible form as well! This will result in a completely different appearance for this luxurious coupe. The sleek and simple Range Rover Evoque is another premium automobile that is available in both fixed roof and convertible configurations.

Interior design

The interior choices and general appearance are very identical to the basic Continental GT. The racing seat upholstery, which is a three-tone seat covering, is new. The leather is dark grey, white, and raspberry red, with diamond quilted red stitching to complete the appearance.

The white color reappears as a line on the door panels and dashboard, while the floor mats have red borders. The inside is also adorned with Supersports logos, and the red accent on the steering wheel reappears.

The passenger-side dashboard features a carbon fiber insert with a chequered pattern, or any other insert you choose. In addition, a big infotainment screen adorns the center.

The convertible GT Supersports will be equipped with unique neck heating, making it even more comfortable to drive in the spring and fall.

This decor is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated we’ve seen in a long time. The three-toned seats make the car seem fresh and unique, which is only appropriate for a Bentley. There are a plethora of other inside color possibilities as well, nearly too many to select from!

Engine specs

The 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports is powered by a twin turbo, 6.0 liter W12 engine. It is turbocharged and has a new charge air cooling system. The car has 700 horsepower, which is 74 horsepower more than the Continental GT Speed. The acceleration time from 0 to 60 mph is 3.4 seconds, and the peak speed is 209 mph (337 kph). In terms of horsepower and luxury, this car’s American rival is the excellent Chrysler 300 with the recognizable shape. That automobile will have the same 707 HP HellCat engine as the Continental and will have the same luxury layout and appearance.

Furthermore, the 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports has all-wheel drive with rear-wheel drive based powering. This means that the rear wheels always receive 60% of the entire torque production, providing an extra sporty sensation.

Finally, the 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports has high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes and enhanced cooling brakes.

Tech specs

A rear view camera and a valet key are available as options in a bundle. Furthermore, the 2018 Continental GT come equipped with a slew of safety features. Definitely a must-have!

Price, release and sale date

The 2018 Bentley Continental GT V8 starts at $218,400, followed by the W12 at $236,100, Speed at $264,300, and Supersports at $322,600 before any inefficiency taxes are applied.

The Supersports model does not state that it is a limited edition, but it is. The automobile will not be available for long and will be built in small quantities.
