Aston Martin is a renowned car manufacturer. The company is famous for making cars that provide the ultimate blend of luxury and performance. The 2015 Aston Martin Vantage offers just that. Let’s look at the features of the latest Vantage:

Engine Specifications

In actual, the Vantage is the smallest car in the Aston Martin line up. However, this simply makes it less powerful that the other Aston Martin monsters. It is in fact a great sports car that produces immense power. There are two models of the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage.

The first model runs on a less powerful V-type engine with 8 cylinders. The second variant is an unbelievable V-12. The V-8 has a capacity of 4.7-L. On the other hand the V-12 is 6 liters in capacity. Both these engines produce incredible power and are worth the money spent on them.

There are two options across all variants of the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage. The availability of the transmission variants also depends on the type of car you select. The V-8 variant is available in a six-speed manual transmission. This would be the first choice for drivers who want to savor the driving experience.

The second transmission variant that Aston Martin provides is the 7-speed automated-manual. While you can select the transmission of your choice in the V-8 Vantage, no such option is available for the V-12. The more powerful engine is paired with the 7-speed automated-manual transmission type.

Aston Martin vehicles are bound to perform exceptionally well. However, the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage exceeds all expectations. There are two variants in the V-8 engine type. The first generates an incredible 420 ponies and 346 pounds of torque.

The second variant of the same engine produces an extra 10 horsepower and 361 pounds of torque. This variant is known as the Vantage S. This car can reach speeds of up to 60 miles an hour from a dead start in a mere 4.3 seconds. The standard V-8 version is not far behind and can travel from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds.

These performance specifications may sound impressive, but they are nothing compared to the power of the V-12. The massive 6 liter engine produces an incredible 565 horses and 457 pounds of torque. The V-12 version of the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage can reach speeds of up to 205 miles an hour. In addition to this the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 in only 3.7 seconds.

Suspension & Handling

Much like most of the Vantage’s features the handling of the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage is flawless. The steering response is crisp and the suspension is stiff. Whether you are driving on the road or taking it for a spin on the track, the handling will remain impeccable.

The adaptive suspension system of this car can adjust itself with the flick of a button. All you have to do is select one of the driving modes available to you. The modes that you can select from are Sport, Track and Normal. The suspension will adjust itself accordingly and you will have the driving experience of a lifetime.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage is definitely sportier than the previous model. However, the best aspect about the car’s exterior styling is the fact that it retains its classic appearance. There are many fresh elements to the design, yet you can easily tell that it is an Aston Martin. This is what adds class to the 2015 Aston Martin Vantage.
