New 2018 Ram ProMaster City Overview
The Ram ProMaster City returns for 2018 with minor changes. Available in Tradesman and SLT trims and in Passenger and Cargo variants, the five-seat Class 1 van based on the Fiat Doblò. Upgrades in the previous model year included rear-door reflectors added to inside lower portion of doors and shifter illumination made brighter for improved visibility. Unique returning features include a payload capacity of 1,883 pounds, 48.4-inch span between the rear wheel wells, independent coil-sprung bi-link rear suspension, and largest interior volume in the segment. The City Cargo is fitted with a sliding door with a 26-inch opening to access the cargo compartment, with rear 60/40 split doors. The City Passenger is equipped with a three-passenger 60/40 split second row with folding/tumbling seats. Almost all primary vehicle systems are packed forward of the cargo area and a variety of upfit systems are available through Mopar.
