Honda premieres an all-new Ridgeline pickup for 2017, after a three-year absence. Available with new Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive (rare for a pickup), all trims powered by a new Variable Cylinder Management™ 3.5-liter V6 with 262 lb.-ft. of torque and 280 hp, mated to a 6-speed automatic. Trim levels are RT, RTS, RTL, RTL-T and Sport in two-wheel drive or AWD, plus RTL-E and Black Edition with AWD. The Ridgeline features fully independent front and rear suspension systems with Amplitude Reactive Dampers and Honda’s next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ unitized body structure. The Ridgeline boasts a Dual-Action Tailgate and available Truck Bed Audio System, what Honda calls a world’s first. Claimed as the only bed in its class that can haul 4-foot-wide items flat, the Ridgeline’s UV-stabilized, ultra-high strength glass fiber-reinforced SMC composite bed also features an in-bed trunk with a fully flat floor.
