New 2018 Ford Focus Overview
The Ford Focus returns for 2018 mostly unchanged, so the news is about the limited-edition RS hatchback. Limited to 1,500 North America units and celebrating the end of production of the high-end Focus, the 2018 RS is available in newly available Race Red or Nitrous Blue. Both feature a new gloss black mirror caps and roof, along with gloss black rear spoiler. 19-inch premium painted alloy wheels are now standard. Complementing interior carbon fiber trim is now standard (equipment from the previous RS2 Package), including black leather Recaro® seats, heated front seats, steering wheel and side mirrors, and voice-activated navigation. Also new Quaife® front axle mechanical limited-slip differential is standard. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle’s performance rear-biased all-wheel drive system, electronically controlled dynamic torque vectoring system, and RS Drive Modes that include launch control and drift mode.
