Used 2017 Cadillac XT5 Overview
The Cadillac XT5 crossover debuts for 2017. Available in base, Premium Luxury, Luxury, and Platinum trims, all powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 270 lb.-ft. of torque and 310 hp. A new 8-speed automatic transmission is standard, featuring an electronically controlled transmission shifter a first for the brand. A new ‘twin-clutch’ all-wheel drive system is an option on the Luxury trims, and standard on the Platinum trim. The electronically controlled rear differential can direct 100% of available torque to either wheel, while the drive system can transfer up to 100% of available torque to either axle. The optional Rear Camera Mirror system has a display screen applied over the rear-view mirror; software removes obstructions like passengers, whereas the external camera streams HD video to the mirror. Cadillac’s CUE system, upgraded for the XT5, features 4G wireless connectivity, with an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
