The 2011 spec Williams FW33 F1 car will also begin testing at the Ricardo Tormo track in Valencia today, with the Grove based team still in the process of completing sponsorship deals for the upcoming season.
The Williams FW33 F1 car features the navy blue livery, and the team will include Ruben Barrichello as the main driver and Pastor Maldonado.
The team’s Technical Director Sam Michael said that "The design of this year’s car has
been pretty smooth We’ve improved our way of working by increasing the
communication between the mechanical and aerodynamic departments, and
that improved our decision making processes. It allowed us to increase
the optimisation time spent on each part of the car."
By the time the 2011 season will kick off in Bahrain in March, the Williams FW33 2011 F1car is expected to receive an aerodynamic upgrade.
