As with most of the company’s models, the Volkswagen Touran has also received the R-Line package making the family carrier a bit more stylish thanks to a series of discrete elements. These elements include new 18 inch light alloy wheels, a new front grille typical to the R-Line models, taillights featuring a darker red tone plus silver roof rails. The Volkswagen Touran R Line has also received a sport suspension with a 15 mm lowered chassis offering improved stability.
At the interior we can spot the multifunction steering wheel with decorative aluminum and aluminium sport pedals, a leather covered gearshift knob and hand brake lever, and among the new gadgets we can mention the radio-navigation RNS 310, the Park Pilot system and mobile phone preparation.
There are two TSI and three TDI engines available for the Volkswagen Touran R Line, and the entry level version will feature the company’s 1.9-litre TDI unit that is able to develop 105 hp (77 kW).
The Volkswagen Touran R Line price will start at 30,800 Euros and the vehicle is available only in Germany.
