MotorTrend has lapped the Laguna Seca in a Ford Mustang Boss 302 and the results were impressive. But before we tell you the actual lap time lets just recap the Ford Mustang Boss 300 specs.
Power is provided by a 5.0-litre V8 developing 445 horses and 515 Nm of torque which are sent to the tarmac via a close-ratio manual transmission. The car is equipped with a limited slip differential, a high-rate coilover suspension, a reinforced chassis and semi-slick tires. Some other systems that help the driver harness the Ford Mustang Boss 302 include electronic steering along with traction and stability control.
And now the results : the Ford Mustang Boss 302 has lapped the Laguna Seca track in 1 minute 40 seconds (1:40.21), which means it is faster than the Mustang GT500 (1:44.32), the BMW M3 (1:42.96), and the Audi R8 (1:40.75).
