Harry Metcalfe, the guy from EVO Magazine has put a BMW i8 against an empty track. As a reminder, the BMW i8 represents the "most progressive sports car of our time" and it has a body made from light materials with a drag coefficient of just 0.26.

Under the hood there is a 1.5 liter Twin Turbo three cylinder petrol unit that can offer 231 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The power train has also an electric engine that can offer 131 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

According to BMW, the total power output is of 362 HP and 570 Nm. Thanks to Harry, we get to see how the upcoming BMW i8 hybrid sports car is doing on the track after BMW announced that its car can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
