Apart from the Toyota Prius V hybrid minivan, the Japanese automaker has also unveiled the Toyota Prius C Concept at the NAIAS 2011, which basically represents a hint of what to expect from the company’s future small hybrid.
The Prius C Concept is a city centric vehicle (hence the letter c), which is part of Toyota’s plan of "broadening the appeal of Prius to all ages and lifestyles". This includes "young singles and
couples who want an eco-sensitive, high-mileage, fun-to-drive Prius".
At this point the company says the Toyota Prius C Concept will combine many advanced technologies with a surprisingly
spacious interior and outstanding fuel
efficiency.
The production version of the Toyota Prius C Concept will be launched in the first half of 2012 as the most value oriented hybrid in the U.S.
