DS has officially revealed the 2016 DS3 facelift. The new model features a revised front bumper a highly modified radiator grille, new LED headlights, restyled wheels and a revised color palette. 

According to DS, the customers can chose from 78 body and roof color combinations, ten roof decals, four soft tops, and ten exterior mirror housings. Inside the cabin, the 2016 DS3 facelift features a new infotainment system that works with a seven speed touchscreen display. The multimedia system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and the center console has fewer physical button. 20 to be more precisely and all of them have been replaced with touch controls.

On the technology side, the 2016 DS3 facelift will come with a rearview camera, front / rear park assist, and a hill assist system. In addition, the French car manufacturer has introduced the Active City Brake system. This one uses a laser sensor to detect potential objects and automatically brake the car if the driver fails to respond.

Under the hood of the 2016 DS3 facelift will be eight different engines. According to DS there will be three PureTech three-cylinder petrols, two THP four-cylinder petrols, and three BlueHDi diesel engines.  

The most potent version will be the Performance one. It will feature a 1.6 liter rated at 208 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. The 2016 DS3 Performance facelift will feature a sport suspension, a 15 mm reduced ride height, a new braking system and a limited slip differential.
