Skoda will unveil the all-new Octavia RS during the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. Until now, the Czech car manufacturer has published a few teaser pictures with the new performance model.

Also, Skoda said that the new generation Octavia RS will be the first performance car made in Mlada Boleslav with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The PHEV Octavia RS will get the iV name and will pack 245 horsepower thanks to a 1.4 liter petrol unit and an electric motor.

But Skoda will also come with a gasoline and a diesel powered Octavia RS. And now, thanks to some leaked documents we have some news.

The new generation Skoda Octavia RS will be equipped with a 2.0 liter petrol unit rated at 245 horsepower. This is the most powerfull Octavia RS made until now by the Czech manufacturer. The engine resources will be sent to the ground via an automatic transmission or a manual gearbox.

The diesel-engined Octavia RS will get a 2.0 TDI unit with 200 horsepower which will be linked exclusively to a seven speed DSG transmission.
