The guys from Subaru and Prodrive have joined forces in order to deliver a special Subaru Impreza WRX STI that will try to take down the Isle of Man TT record.

Behind the wheels of this impressive project will be the British rally champion Mark Higgins, who is actually the current record holder. In the past, he managed to complete the 37-mile course in 19 minutes and 15 seconds back in 2014 with a 2015MY WRX STI in U.S. specification.

But the guys from Prodrive will deliver a more impressive model. This WRX STI will have a stripped out the interior cabin, an upgraded body and special aerodynamics features.

As a reminder, Subaru and Prodrive has a special relationship since 1990. In 2008 they have brake up and this is why this project looks very, very good. We are looking forward to see what Subaru and Prodrive can do in 2016. Good luck guys!
