The French automaker released photos and details with their facelifted 2009 Peugeot 207 today. The new range will be launched in August and will offer no less than 12 motorisation options, as well as new standard equipment and lower CO2 emissions. At this year’s Tuner Grand Prix competition on the Hockenheimring race track the Porsche 911 GT2 based TECHART GTstreet RS won first place in the GT Turbo Class. Victory came after driver Jorg Hardt managed to distance himself from the rest of the pack leaving them with no chance with an average lap time 0.604 seconds faster than the team in second place.
