The Bavarian automaker is introducing the long wheelbase variants 2011 BMW 5 Series 523Li, 528Li and 535Li. These models which are 140 mm (5.5 inches) longer were developed only for the Chinese market, and will be presented on April 25th at the 2010 Auto Shina in Beijing.
The 2011 BMW 5 Series 523Li, 528Li and 535Li models now measure 5,039 mm (198 inch) in length and under the bonnet the automaker will offer the three engine variants linked to a 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Thanks to this engine the Cosworth Subaru Impreza STI CS400 will sprint from rest to 100 Km/h in only 3.7 seconds which means it is 1.5 seconds faster than the standard Impreza WRX STI.
2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid
The 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will be presented at this year’s New York Auto Show and the company states that this car will be the most fuel efficient luxury sedan in America.
The 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will extract its juice from a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle I-4 hybrid engine which combines the attributes of gasoline with electric battery-driven motors. Total system output is 191 HP and with this powertrain the 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is able to return 41 mpg. In pure electric mode the 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid can reach 47 mph as opposed to its closest rival, the Lexus HS 250h which can achieve only 25 mph.
