Renault-Nissan and Daimler AG announce strategic cooperation
The Renault-Nissan and Daimler AG groups have joined forces announcing a strategic cooperation program that would enable both manufacturers to launch a series of new projects, share best practices andexchange stock.
The Renault Nissan Alliance has bought a 3.1 percent stake in Daimler while Daimler has bought a 3.1 percent stake in Renault and a 3.1 percent stake in Nissan, in other words cross-shareholding.
2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition
The 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition is a limited run series with only 50 units to be assembled that marks the last year of production for the current generation Viper.
Each 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition will be available in Coupe, Roadster or ACR (American Club Racer) configurations and will feature the Graphite Clear Coat exterior finish with a painted black center stripe accentuated by a center red line plus a black windshield surround and unique side sill badges.
Vauxhall Astra VXR Arctic Edition
Opel’s British arm, Vauxhall is launching a special edition model limited to 500 units called the Astra VXR Arctic.
As you would expect with any limited series the Vauxhall Astra VXR Arctic Edition gets special features like black painted front grille, exterior mirrors, roof and tailgate trim which contrast the Olympic White body finish plus 19 inch black rims.
Citroen C5 1.6HDi
The Citroen C5 1.6HDi is the French manufacturer’s way of saying that their saloon and tourer versions are now greener and with leaner performance.
The 110 horsepower engine in the Citroen C5 1.6HDi has been re-homologated and CO2 emissions have dropped by 10g per Km from 140 g to 130 g. Fuel efficiency in a combined cycle has also improved 6 percent to 56.5 miles per gallon so this means the Citroen C5 1.6HDi qualifies for free road tax in the first year.

It didn’t take long before the newly launched Apple iPad got fitted into a car as a new entertainment system. The Apple iPad in-car installation video was done by Doug Bernards from SoundMan Car Audio in California and we have to say the whole mockup looks pretty nice.
The car that was chosen for the Apple iPad installation was a Toyota Tacoma and besidees the iPad itself the system will also include an McIntosh amplifier.

We know that the limited edition Ford Focus RS500 has generated quite a buzz when it got unveiled online last week but check this out : the Ford Focus RS500 was sold out in less than 12 hours after being revealed even though its price is not officially known yet.

Aston Martin Rapide at Nurburgring 24h
The British company announced it will field an Aston Martin Rapide at this year’s Nurburgring 24h race on 15, 16 May.
The Aston Martin Rapide will be driven by a team of engineers from Gaydon, Warwickshire and will participate in this endurance race along with other models like the V8 Vantage or the V12 Vantage.
