Ferrari to use V6 engines
According to the British press Ferrari’s Luca di Montezemolo has admitted that they are considering using V6 engines in the future, in an effort to reduce consumption and CO2 emissions.
6-cylinder engines are known to be used by Ferrari in the past however he said that if this kind of powerplant will be fitted on the company’s future models, it should have no downside as far as driver’s enjoyment.

The Bavarian car maker has achieved a new milestone as it has sold its 1 Millionth BMW X5 model to a customer in China.
The 1 Millionth BMW X5 is a sapphire black metallic xDrive35i version with Nevada leather trimming, and the SUV was produced at the company’s plant in Spartanburg/South Carolina and will soon be delivered to its owner.
MINI 7 Seater SUV
MINI has just entered the family size vehicle segment with its newly introduced Countryman, and the company is already thinking of producing an even larger model, a 7 seater version SUV.
This new 7 Seater SUV would stretch Countryman’s wheelbase from 2,60 meters to 2,70 meters so it will probably compete against the Volkswagen Touran or the 7 seat version Nissan Qashqai.

The Japanese car maker has released videos and details with the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI sedan, which was tested at the Nurburgring race track in Germany with 4 times World Rally Champion, Tommi Makinen behind the wheel.
The 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI sedan has lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 55 seconds, which is for example around 4 seconds faster than the Cadillac CTS-V which lapped the ring in 2008 and also 4 seconds faster than their previous record achieved 2004.

The MINI Cooper S vs Porsche 911 Carrera S challenge is supposed to take place at Road Atlanta in two weeks, and depending one the winner Jim McDowell will wear a t-shirt that says ‘We Beat Porsche’ or one that reads ‘We Did Not Beat Porsche’ at his next public appearance.
