Video: Audi A7 driving scenes
A new video released by the Ingolstadt based automaker this time presents their 4-door coupe Audi A7 in action on public roads.
Positioned between the Audi A6 and the Audi A8 the Audi A7 enters a market segment in which it will have to face competitors like the BMW 5 Series GT and the upcoming Mercedes CLS, and the engine featured on the base version will be a 3.0-litre V6 TDI producing 204 horsepower (150 kW).
BMW 3 Series Dynamic edition
The BMW 3 Series Dynamic edition is a special version offered exclusively for South Africa for which production will be limited to 300 exemplars.
The BMW 3 Series Dynamic edition features various elements from the M-Sport package with new parts that originate from the automaker Performance division. Besides the new body colors (Alpine White, Blue Water or Space Grey Metallic)and the chrome kidney grille, the BMW 3 Series Dynamic edition received a front spoiler with carbon fiber splitters, carbon made exterior mirror casings, a new bumper at the back and small carbon fiber boot lid lip.
2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM spy video
The 2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM was recently spied during tests on the Nurburgring and most of the exterior details are visible due to the fact that car barely wears any camouflage.
As you can see the 2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM features the ‘traditional’ elements carried from the specV model, plus the new exhaust pipes, and of-curse the slightly redesigned front fascia.
MTM Audi RS5
The German tuners from MTM are among the first to customise the new Audi RS5 4,2 FSI Quattro, offering a series of exterior enhancements and a higher top speed.
Even though output remains the same as in the stock version the MTM Audi RS5 features a modified motronic computer that removes the 250 Km/h speed limiter which means the performance coupe can now hit 303 Km/h (188 mph). This features costs 1,499 Euro without the 125 Euro installation fee.
2011 Mercedes Vito E-CELL
The 2011 Mercedes Vito E-CELL is the first battery powered electric van for which production has already started. Besides the 100 units that were already assembled the automaker wants to produce 2000 more next year which are expected to offer emission free driving in environmentally sensitive areas.
The 2011 Mercedes Vito E-CELL uses a permanent synchronous electric motor that delivers 60 kW or 70 kW at its peak and 280 Nm of torque that get send to the front wheels via a single speed transmission. Thanks to this powertrain the 2011 Mercedes Vito E-CELL can cover as much as 130 Km with a top speed limited to 80 Km/h while carrying a load of 900 Kg.
2011 Porsche Panamera Hybrid info
Various sources are reporting that the German automaker has given the 2011 Porsche Panamera Hybrid the green light for production.
Power will get extracted from the same system used in the Cayenne Hybrid, which means the 2011 Porsche Panamera Hybrid will use a 3.0-litre V6 that packs 329 bhp that will receive an additional 46 bhp from an electric motor.
1000HP Switzer Nissan R35 GTR
You’ve probably seen this coming as you might be familiar with Switzer’s P800 and E900 projects that delivered 800 HP and 900 HP respectively so the it was just a matter of time until the1000HP Nissan GTR would arrive. This project is actually named the Nissan R35 GTR and the R means it needs high octane race fuel to achieve the 1000HP figure.
Some of the modifications that were performed on the 1000HP Switzer Nissan R35 GTR include reinforced engine internal package, custom camshafts, spec 3 transmission by Sheptrans, new fuel injectors, the ‘Monster’ intercooler package, new larger turbos and manifold and a new titanium exhaust system.
Video: Pagani Zonda R Nurburgring Record
The Italian supercar builder, Pagani has published the complete record video from on-board their Pagani Zonda R which lapped the Nurburgring track in Germany in 6 minutes 47 seconds. We remind you that the Pagani Zonda R Nurburgring record was set back in June, but weather or not the new time will be validated is a different story, considering the car is not road legal.
Whatever the case may be, we know for sure that the Pagani Zonda R is almost 11 seconds faster around the Nurburgring than the Ferrari 599XX.
Inden Design Mercedes SL63 AMG BLACK SAPHIR
Tuners at Inden Design are introducing the BLACK SAPHIR which is a customised Mercedes SL63 AMG that received enhancements to both appearance and performance.
The Inden Design Mercedes SL63 AMG BLACK SAPHIR conversion comes with 19,900 Euros worth of equipment and starting with the exterior these include a new front bonnet and front Flap, a carbon tail diffuser, multipart light alloys wrapped in high-speed Dunlop tires plus the lacquer exterior finish.
