2011 Kia Optima European spec
Besides presenting the Kia POP concept, the Korean manufacturer has also brought the 2011 Kia Optima for its first European appearance.
Expected to go on sale in Europe on mid-to-late 2011, the 2011 Kia Optima is expected to enhance Kia’s presence in the D-segment.
The 2011 Kia Optima European spec version will be available with two engine choices. The first is a 1.7-litre 4-cylinder VGT diesel producing 136 PS and 330 Nm of torque thanks to which CO2 emissions are expected to be 113 g/km when fitted with Kia’s ISG Start/Stop system.
Kia POP
The Korean company has released full details referring to their electric concept that is being presented these days in Paris, and we’re talking about the Kia POP. We also get a set of new photos, this time revealing the car’s interior as well.
The Kia POP represents a vision of future electric transport in urban areas, and Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer said that “We wanted this car to act as a loose nucleus, a wild atom.”
Audi Quattro Concept unveiled
The Audi Quattro Concept has been unveiled just hours before it will premiere at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
Celebrating 30 years of the quattro, the Audi Quattro Concept has been developed on a shorter Audi RS5 platform, and under the bonnet there is a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbocharged engine that is bale to unleash 408 horsepower (300 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque.
The Audi Quattro Concept accelerates from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.8 seconds, figure which is also influenced by the fact that the car’s total weight is 1,30 Kg (2,866 lbs).
Jaguar C-X75 Concept
The British company has pull the wraps off the Jaguar C-X75 Concept just as the 2010 Paris Motor Show is about to begin.
Powered by two small micro gas turbine engines providing 140 kW, which can run on LPG, diesel, biofuel or natural gas, plus four electric motors ( delivering 145 kW) linked to a lithium ion battery pack, the Jaguar C-X75 Concept can reach speeds of up to 330 Km/h (205 mph).
Skoda Octavia Green E Line
The Skoda Octavia Green E Line is a battery powered electric concept which promises a 140 Km driving range, and which will be presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The Skoda Octavia Green E Line uses an electric motor rated at 60 kW of constant power and 85 kW maxim power, with a maximum 270 Nm of torque, which enables the Czech concept to hit 100 Km/h from a stand still in 12 seconds.
SEAT IBE Concept specs
The Spanish company has released photos and details with the SEAT IBE Concept which will be showcased at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The first SEAT IBE Concept was seen earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, and since then the automaker has continued to perfect tis design, interior and technology.
Measuring 3.83 m in length, the SEAT IBE Concept is all about zero emissions, thanks to electric motor which develops 102 PS (75 kW) and 200 Nm of torque and which enables 0 to 50 Km/h (0 to 31 mph) acceleration times of 3.6 seconds, or from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 9.7 seconds.
2011 Volkswagen Passat

Peugeot HR1
The French car maker has unveiled the Peugeot HR1 concept as the 2010 Paris Motor Show is only hours away from opening its doors for the press.
The Peugeot HR1 is an two-door SUV for the city, and it targets young customers through its design and innovation.
Measuring only 3.67 meters in length the Peugeot HR1 is powered by a 1.2-litre engine capable of producing 110 bhp and 195 Nm of torque plus a Synchronous Electric Motor with permanent magnets that adds from 27 to 37 bhp.
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento unveiled
The Italian supercar maker has officially unveiled their Sixth Element, which in Italian is called the Lamborghini Sesto Element.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento uses advanced carbon fiber technology, and as you can see carbon has been applied not only to the car’s body, but also rims, dashboard, seats, etc., and as a result the overall weight is just 999 Kg (2,202 lbs).
The V10 engine powering the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is delivers 570 HP (419 kW) to all four wheels through steering wheel mounted paddle shifters so accelerating from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) takes only 2.5 seconds.
