The second new model revealed by the British car maker in Paris is the Lotus Elan, which is expected to hit the market in 2013 and which will enter the automotive scene as a competitor for the Porsche 911.
The Lotus Elan comes with the ‘zero compromise’ motor, and in this case power will be provided by a 4.0-litre V6 rated at 450 PS ad 465 Nm of torque. The Hybrid and KERS technologies will also be available as options, and on a 0 to 100 Km/h run, the Lotus Elan will need just 3.5 seconds.
2013 Lotus Esprit
The 2013 Lotus Esprit has just been unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and as the company describes it, this model will continue to be the ultimate Lotus.
Featuring a two seater layout the 2013 Lotus Esprit will come available in with two powertrain setups composed from a 5.0-litre petrol which can be mated to an optional hybrid as well as optional KERS.
The petrol engine will be a 5.0-litre V8 developing 620 PS and 720 Nm of torque, figures that will enable the 2013 Lotus Esprit to sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 3.4 seconds and also reach a top speed of 330 Km/h.
Ford Mondeo ECOnetic
The new Ford Mondeo ECOnetic is being presented at the Motor Show in Paris these days, along with the Ford Ka TDCi, both vehicles offering impressively low CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
The Ford Mondeo ECOnetic will feature Auto Start Stop as standard plus the 1.6-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi engine developing 115 PS (85 kW) which uses a six-speed manual gearbox, will also be equipped with diesel particulate filter.
The new Ford Mondeo ECOnetic promises CO2 emissions of 115g/Km, while consumption figures are yet to be announced.
Lotus Eterne 4-door sedan
The Lotus Eterne 4-door sedan is a derivative of the new Lotus Elite, and a series of spy photos have surfaced the web right before its premiere at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The Lotus Eterne 4-door sedan shares most of its design lines with the 2014 Lotus Elite, the main difference being at the back. If the British manufacturer decides to take the Lotus Eterne 4-door sedan into production, then models like the Aston Martin Rapide, Mercedes CLS, Audi A7, Maserati Quattroporte, or Porsche Panamera will have a new competitor.
Ferrari SA APERTA detailed
The Prancing Horse has released detailed information referring to the Ferrari SA APERTA, as the limited production version 599 has debuted in Paris today.
Only 80 exemplars Ferrari SA APERTA will be produced, and even if you have the cash for it, they have already been sold out.
Powered by a V12 engine outputting 670 HP @ 8,250 rpm and 620 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm, the Ferrari SA APERTA uses an F1 style 6-speed transmission that needs 60 milliseconds to shift gears.
2011 Camaro Convertible
The first official photo with the 2011 Camaro Convertible has just been revealed by the North American automaker, who also announced that the open top version will premiere at the 2010 L.A International Auto Show in November.
Dealership arrival is set for next year in February and the 2011 Camaro Convertible price will start at 30,000 USD.

The Renault DeZir is being showcased to members of the press these days in Paris before the Auto Show opens its doors for the general public. Jaguar CX75 Concept video
This next video presents the Jaguar CX75 Concept getting unveiled at the 2010 Mondial de l’Automobile and by looking at its performance figures and the technologies that have been applied to it, we have to say that this is definitely one of the stars in Paris this year.
The Jaguar CX75 Concept uses two turbine engines and four electric motors (one for each wheel), features technologies like torque vectoring and can reach top speeds of up to 205 mph.
Nissan Townpod
Details and photos with the Nissan Townpod concept have just been released. Developed as a vehicle that adapts to its driver’s working and living situation the Nissan Townpod is a multifaced solution to both business and social lives.
The Nissan Townpod is intended as a tool for today’s entrepreneurs and combines the benefits of a passenger car with the practicality of a light commercial vehicle.
As far as design the Nissan Townpod has a low, flat-floor, with rear ringed doors and split trunk doors, LED headlights, and a touch screen display at the interior which communicates with the user’s PDA.
2011 MINI Countryman WRC
Ok so we’ve seen the 2011 Ford Fiesta RS WRC and the 2011 Citroen DS3 WRC, now its time for the 2011 MINI Countryman WRC to get unveiled.
The 2011 MINI Countryman WRC is being presented to visitors at the 2010 Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris, and the company says that Kris Meeke (GB) has already being confirmed as one of the drivers in the 2011 World Rally Championship which will debut in February in Sweden.
