The German carmaker Audi will bring the next generation of RS3 in 2014. This information was made public by Stephan Reil, head of technology development for Audi’s Quattro GmbH.

"Let’s just say you will be seeing more of the five-cylinder engine", said the Audi official. Under the hood we will see the same 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine that developed 340 hp (250 kW) and 450 Nm (322 lb-ft) of torque.

We can’t say for sure if the unit will be more powerful but thanks to the new MQB platform the model will be lighter and will have better performance. The 2014 RS3 will come with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive and we hope that it will receive an aggressive body kit and some new brakes.
